Norman (Surgery & Implant Patient) Norman's general dentist recommended orthodontic treatment because of a deep bite that was wearing away this lower teeth. Norman had many different discrepancies but one major problem was he was missing an upper permanent incisor that had caused his upper arch to drift to the right. He also had a deep bite and a Class II malocclusion (overjet). Treatment involved aligning the upper and lower arches and opening space on the upper right to make room for the missing tooth to be replaced with an implant. Norman also had jaw surgery to move his lower jaw forward to correct his Class II skeletal malocclusion. Norman's treatment was very involved but he is pleased with the end result. << Previous | Back to List | Next >> |
