Success Stories
Taylor (Phase I and II treatments)

Sometimes patients who have so much crowding or very narrow palates, etc. need early treatment to help them develop normally. Taylor is a great example of the benefits of having Phase I treatment followed by Phase II when she was older. Her first treatment at age 8 years was to correct severe crowding and a narrow palate. Phase I was followed by some extractions of deciduous (baby) teeth to help with the crowding. When Taylor was 11 years old, we started her second phase of treatment with full braces, upper and lower to align, open her deep bite and used rubber bands to correct her overjet. If Taylor's parents had waited until she was 11 to start her treatment, she more than likely would have needed four premolars extracted.
