	Arlene Arlene had always wondered why she had trouble biting into sandwiches or salads which had caused problems swallowing certain foods. Arlene had been treated orthodontically when she was younger. When she came to Dr. Brown, he did a complete diagnostic study of Arlene’s teeth and bone structure. He explained to her that the way her upper and lower jaw had grown was the reason for her gummy smile, weak chin, and inability to bite into food. And, that her problems would be improved greatly by having orthodontic treatment and oral surgery combined to change her bone structure as well as the way her teeth and jaws came together.
